Hart.

A Journey of Transition and Connection

Our Resident's journey began in 2013 when she moved into one of our apartments. Initially, she and her husband were drawn to the welcoming atmosphere and stunning surroundings. "The first time I walked into the apartment, I was amazed," she recalls. "It was just beautiful, even though I hadn't seen it in person before moving in. Jackie had provided us with a detailed floor plan, and it felt perfect."

As life progressed, the couple decided to transition to a larger living space to accommodate their changing needs. “We loved our apartment, but as we aged, we wanted to eliminate the steps,” she explains. They requested a transfer within the same property, and the transition to the larger apartment was seamless.

Above and Beyond: A Touch of Kindness

One of the standout experiences that truly reflects the community spirit at J.C. Hart occurred during a difficult time. In April 2020, after losing her husband to COVID-19, our Resident received an unexpected gesture of kindness from our team. "Jen and the team sent over the most beautiful arrangement of flowers. It meant so much to me," she shared. "Even amid managing multiple properties and residents, they took the time to show they cared. It was touching and made a world of difference."

This sentiment is echoed by her appreciation for our Associates. "Every encounter I've had with the staff—Michelle, Leslie, Jayden—has been positive. They are always there to help, and Dan from Maintenance even became friends with my husband through their shared love for the Bears."

The Heart of J.C. Hart Community

When asked what she appreciates most about living in a J.C. Hart community, her answer is clear: the sense of security and connection. "After my husband passed, I felt a sense of safety here. My son knew that I was in a good place, surrounded by caring neighbors and staff. The community is truly a circle of support."
