Michael Hart, Chief Financial Officer, has a combined fifteen years of financial and accounting experience at J.C. Hart Company. He is responsible for the financial and administrative functions for J.C. Hart Company, Inc., and serves on the Executive Committee. Michael joined J.C. Hart Company, Inc. in July 2010 as a financial analyst and became CFO in 2018. During his time with the Company, he has been instrumental in placing over $800,966,672 in new construction debt, $791,338,300 in permanent debt, and $229,000,000 in bridge financing.
Professional Accomplishments
Michael began his career as a staff auditor and tax preparer at Katz, Sapper and Miller and served clients in the real estate, manufacturing, and transportation industries. During his tenure at Katz, Sapper and Miller, Michael earned his CPA certification with the State of Indiana. Prior to his accounting career, Michael worked for the region’s top real estate brokers in mortgage lending and multi-family investment sales.
Education
Michael is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, majoring in Accounting and Real Estate Finance. He graduated with High Distinction from the Kelley School of Business.
Community Contributions
Michael is an active participant in fundraising efforts for the St. Mary’s Child Center in Indianapolis, IN. Michael also served on the OneZone Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for six years and was Board Treasurer for the final three years of his term.
