Company Experience
Todd May, Sr. Vice President – Development, has over twenty years of residential/ commercial real estate experience. He is responsible for identifying new development and business opportunities, coordinating and satisfying all conditions required for closings, and the acquisition and disposition of existing income-producing properties. Todd joined J.C. Hart Company, Inc. in 2001 and is a member of the Executive Committee.
Professional Accomplishments
Prior to joining J.C. Hart Company, Inc., Todd was employed by CBRE - Memphis where he served as Vice President of the Multifamily Division. While at CBRE, Todd assisted in the sale of over 2,900 apartment units, totaling over $115M to regional and national private equity investors, REITs, pension fund advisors, and not-for-profit buyers. Todd has been instrumental in the growth and success of J.C. Hart Company since 2001 with the development of over 6,500 apartment units totaling over $750,000,000 in value. Additionally, Todd has overseen the disposition of over 2,000 units and has led J.C. Hart’s expansion into new geographic markets and new product innovations to serve the ever-evolving J.C. Hart client base.
Education
Todd received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Indiana University School of Business, Bloomington, Indiana in 1991.
Community Contributions
Todd is an active member of the Indiana Apartment Association (IAA) and BAGI, where he sits on the Economic Development Committee. Todd volunteers for charitable and community events and participates in coaching youth sports through his church and in his community.
